Perez Hip One is a popular figure who was hosting the annual Gaze Parade in Tan Friends Sister. Reporter Scary Preacher (former Miss Calodonia) asked him if he thought that all beauty contestants were not exactly the brightest bulb in the pack. His response sent shockwaves throughout the Gazed Community. He said "They are not necessarily the dimmest bulb in the pack". He later stated that what he meant was that each person is an individual and they may not be the smartest person in a group of people, but that does not mean they are the least intelligent just because they are beautiful. This did not help him in any way as he was constantly asked by the Papa Rott Z what he was thinking. He lost his position as the host for future parades and was eventually fired from his job. He was ridiculed on the internet with old photos of him popping up all over.
All the while Scary Preacher became very popular and was asked to go on all the talk shows and appeared on every news channel. Although it is not fair, life can throw you a curve ball at you now and again. Prez cannot find work and his long time boy toy dumped him. His family and friends stopped talking to him. He even had a country song written about him, but it did not sell. Isam is not sure if that is a good thing or not. Why he lost everything while the person who asked the question was rewarded greatly and then took his statement out of context to further her career, no one knows. This is one of those life-defining moments you have to learn from. Prez will be okay.
